I topped this toast with chopped spinach 🌱, cooked shrimp, quartered cherry tomatoes 🍅, a light drizzle of olive oil, red pepper flakes, and Maldon sea salt flakes 🧂.
For the toast, I used a gluten free bread from Canyon Bakehouse’s Gluten-Free Bread. There’s been a lot of gluten elimination going on in my household and I’m 1000% here for it. I’ve found that limiting and eliminating gluten in my diet has helped with inflammation and gut health. Gone are the days that I share recipes that I myself wouldn’t feel good about eating (read: devouring) myself.
This is a 10-minute version of shrimp on toast because I used Trader Joe’s Argentinian Red Shrimp with Ginger & Garlic Butter. 🦐 You can absolutely make this recipe using any raw shrimp you have on hand and cooking it in your favorite compound butter.
10-Minute Shrimp on Toast
This is a 10-minute Shrimp on Toast using Trader Joe's packaged Argentinian Red Shrimp with a Ginger and Garlic Compound Butter. The shrimp toast is topped with chopped spinach, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, red pepper flakes, and flaky sea salt.
Ingredients
- 1 9-ounce package of Trader Joe's Argentinian Red Shrimp with Ginger & Garlic Butter
- Toasted bread (1 to 2 slices per person)
- Chopped spinach
- Cherry tomatoes, quartered
- Olive oil
- Red pepper flakes
- Maldon sea salt flakes (or coarse sea salt)
Instructions
- In a cast iron (preferred) or non-stick skillet, cook shrimp and compound butter over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes on each side. If you'd like smaller pieces on the toast, you can halve them at this point.
